The week in quilt moments
I had big plans for this week– the #hexacabin tutorial, a charity quilt, some BOMs– but it had other plans for me. But there were lots of great quilty moments.
On Sunday I got to deliver the BFF quilt to a day-old baby girl named Louisa. This is my BGFF with her new niece.
I found some quiltspiration in some hospital art, of all things:
I got to see how well The Missing Brick quilt looks in its new home.
Snowed in without the supplies I wanted, I did some FMQ on my oldest WIP.
And got distracted by crayon names while picking quilt palettes.
I had a great time watching my students’ faces light up when their seams matched.
Here’s my workspace today, all ready to hexacabin.
I’ll be back here soon with the how-to. Have a weekend that warm in feelings and temperatures.
Here’s what I’ve been dancing to to keep warm:
i’m about to get my hexacabin on toooooo! let’s girl, mel!
noooooooooo, that’s supposed to be “Let’s goooo!” hahaha
Keep your pants on! I’m working on it!
Love the crayon names. Especially Achoo. Eeeeuw!
