The week in pictures

Remember how I said that July would be nutty? We’ve passed the halfway point, but I’m really in the thick of summer activity. This past week there was a second gorgeous wedding, a heatwave, a head cold, mini golf and lots of potty training.

Yesterday I did manage to do some quilting, a spiral on one of the pigeon quilts. It’s the one day I’ve sewed all week. I miss it, but this summer is just too fun to spend sitting at the machine. I’ll have plenty of time for that in August when the kids go to camp.

I’m going to finish it up demonstrating at tonight’s quilting class.

This coming week will also hold a LOT of activity for the North Jersey Modern Quilt Guild. We’ve got a meeting on Thursday and tomorrow we’re taking a field trip to Cloud 9 Fabrics! I’m so excited.
