Floret Free Quilt Pattern
I’m so happy to announce that the Floret quilt pattern is now available as a free downloadable pattern from Cloud9 Fabrics. I love this pattern, and I especially love how it works with Aneela Hoey’s latest fabric collection, Vignette.
The design is made entirely of quarter circles using templates from the super awesome Jen Carlton-Bailly. They’re included in the pattern, but I really recommend trying her plastic templates, which are for sale in different sizes in her shop. The pattern uses the 6 1/2″ templates, which handily trim down to 6″ for precise piecing once you have your curved blocks assembled.
It’s always a thrill to see how someone else interprets a pattern. Make sure to tag me and #floretquilt on Instagram if you make something.
