WIP Wednesday 6.5.13
I have way more works in progress than I am comfortable with. I’m going to use this post as inventory and figure out how to get some finishes.
The blue baby quilt just needs a binding, which I’m hoping to get done tonight. I’ve shown some pictures of the quilting, but I just love it, so here’s one more of the back. I’ll do the full reveal when it’s in its home, hopefully early next week.
Next up is the skyline quilt, which is basted but not quilted yet.
Then there’s my Glam Garlands, which lost some momentum when I messed up a design I had planned for the backing. I could easily get this one back on track with some strategic fabric surgery.
This is what I want to do, without the white selvedge strip and crease lines, obviously.
Next up is a girly strip and flip, which I made using a tutorial from Cluck Cluck Sew with a few adjustments. I have the top and back, but haven’t basted yet. This one’s been in the closet because I don’t quite have a recipient in mind yet.
And finally, a new project. I finished picking out the fabric yesterday. I’m looking for just the right design.
I better get to work.
Linking up with Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday.
Nice set of projects! The quilting looks great! I look forward to seeing how you’re going to quilt the skyline quilt!
Thanks! Part of the reason I haven’t yet is because I can’t seem to decide. Or I get too ambitious and psyche myself out. I’m eager to get it done now, so I’m going to try to balance simplicity and ambition.
You’ve got tons going on!
I agree that the back of the first quilt is heavenly! Those AMH feathers to. die. for.
also love your color choices for your new WIP.
Thanks! I can’t wait to share some more of it. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Thanks! I have to make myself finish a few things before I cut into it. Yeah, right. Thanks for coming by!
so much pretty going on! I love the girly strip’n’flip…what’s the 4th fabric down on the main part? the amy butler looking one….I dig it. The skyline quilt…I hope you have a show room ready for that one…that’s going to be inspirational…and you know we’re fabric twinsies on some of these others! I love stalking you…you have such fun stuff going on!!!
I love stalking you too! I am equally delighted and freaked out at how much we have in common. That 4th fabric down is Filigree by Art Gallery Fabrics. And it’s all over the back. Naturally. It’s like you have radar or something!
