A few notes
Hello! Have you seen the amazing quilt planner that Stephanie at Late Night Quilter is releasing in December? Preorders are now open, and I’m hoping to drop some hints that they are the perfect holiday gift for the quilter in your life. There are group discounts too if you have a bee or guild. There are free patterns inside, along with all kinds of useful tips and forms to help you organize your quilting and your life. Stephanie has worked so hard to make something thoughtful, beautiful, and useful, so check it out if you’re interested.
Here’s a shot of the inside. I’m partial to the UFO list page. So great. Lots more pictures at the links above!
I also wanted to make a note about my Peek pattern. I have recently made a correction to the finished block size, which was printed incorrectly. I kept hearing from people how much they loved their blocks, but that they still thought their seam allowance needed work. I was confused– this was supposed to help people find confidence in their seam allowances! Finally, a friend pointed out that her blocks were finishing at 12″ x 15 as if that was incorrect, and I said, no, you did it perfectly! Turns out, the pattern has said that the block should be 1/2″ bigger all along. No more. I hope that clears everything up, and I hope that people making it in the future can be proud of their work.
I’ll be highlighting some Peek projects in the coming weeks. Thanks for checking in!
