The Technicolor quilt

I have been so excited lately about a quilt partnership and milestone, and for no reason at all have neglected to mention it here. I designed a quilt for the local craft store, Rock Paper Scissors in Montclair NJ, to demonstrate some of the amazing things that can be done with the Simply Color fabric line. Just before the holidays I was literally trying not to jump up and down when I saw it in the store.

I’m going to be posting a tutorial on the Rock Paper Scissors blog soon, and will definitely link to it here. I don’t need it to be so, but this quilt and tutorial are the single thing that make me feel like a quilt designer. I feel honored and lucky and so encouraged.
